Gavisco Product Warranty Coverage

  1. Warranty Duration:
    The duration of the warranty may vary depending on the product category and is specified on the product page. Please refer to the specific product page for the applicable warranty duration.

  2. Electric Standing Desk Warranty:
    The electric standing desk is covered by a structural warranty of 10 years. This warranty includes the desk frame, control panel, and motor. It covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal use.

  3. Office Swivel Chair Warranty:
    The office swivel chair is covered by a structural warranty of 5 years. This warranty includes the gas lift and non-moving metal components (Chair Frame). It covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal use.

  4. Other Products Warranty:
    For other products not specifically mentioned above, a structural warranty of 1 year is provided. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur under normal use.


Exclusions and Limitations:

Please note that a defect in material or workmanship, as covered by Gavisco's warranty, does not include the following:

  1. Damage caused by misuse or abuse of the product.
  2. Improper assembly or assembly that deviates from the written assembly instructions provided.
  3. Normal wear and tear that occurs over time with regular use.
  4. Damage resulting from a natural disaster or an Act of God.
  5. Damage occurring during transportation or shipping.
  6. Unauthorized modifications made without the express written consent of Gavisco.
  7. Improper storage of the product.
  8. Natural variations such as color, grain, knots, etc., commonly found in materials like wood and bamboo.
  9. Natural aging of materials like wood, bamboo, leather, and fabric, which may result in color shifting during use.
  10. Crocking or reverse crocking of dyes from clothing on our seating materials.

Products damaged in any of these ways will not be considered defective under the warranty and will therefore not be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund.

Warranty Claim Process

In such cases, we may also schedule an on-site repair service to address the issue and ensure that the product is restored to its proper functionality.

Warranty Remedies

In the event of a valid warranty claim, Gavisco will provide the following remedies:

  1. Repair or Replacement:
    Gavisco will, at its discretion, either repair the defective product or provide a replacement. If the issue can be resolved through repair, we will take the necessary steps to fix the product and restore it to proper working condition. If a repair is not feasible or the defect cannot be effectively addressed, we will offer a replacement product of the same model or a comparable alternative.
  2. Comparable Product Substitution:
    If a direct replacement is not available or feasible, we may suggest substituting the defective product with a new comparable product that is currently active for sale. In such cases, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative that meets your needs. Please note that if the suggested alternative product has a higher price than the original product, you may be required to pay the price difference. Return and Shipping

Gavisco will cover the cost of shipping for warranty claims, including the return of defective products for repair or replacement. In cases where on-site repair services are required, Gavisco will bear the cost of labor. Additionally, for warranty remedies that involve the delivery of a replacement product, Gavisco will cover the associated delivery costs. Please note that this coverage applies to valid warranty claims and excludes any costs related to non-warranty issues or situations beyond the scope of the warranty terms. Additional Terms

Any repairs or replacements made under the warranty will not extend the original warranty period. Gavisco may require inspection or request the return of the defective product before providing any warranty remedies. The customer is responsible for any costs associated with product installation, removal, or reinstallation.

Only original, unaltered, and unmodified items and workmanship are covered under the Gavisco warranty terms. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use. Any damage not covered under warranty may be repaired at a reasonable rate, and a fee will be charged for return shipping.

Gavisco is not responsible for direct, incidental, or consequential damages for any reason, including damage resulting from a breach of warranty or condition, such as scratches on a device surface. Please note that some states may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
